There are good people all around us. Fly ORKA is a free flight training app dedicated to helping pilots and aspiring pilots find meaningful connections at every step of their aviation journey. We’ve reinvented networking in flight training so that those born to fly and those born to teach can meet and build high-impact relationships. We champion support, prioritizing the needs and well-being of those born to fly and those born to teach—always.
The Fly ORKA community is filled with pilots and instructors worldwide who are ready to transfer their knowledge, build skills, and enjoy ‘hangar talk’. Through shared flights, profiles, and messages, you can meet new people and connect with those you’ve been looking for.
Both pilots and instructors can receive messages in a secure and dedicated flying network. Just like hanging out at the airport, we see each other fly and maybe talk with each other. You can write any message you want, and the recipient will never see your phone number or non-aviation social media profile.
Instructors can further sign in on the web and create in-person, online, or hybrid classes. By doing so, instructors generate an informative page—similar to what a website should do, but without the need to build or maintain one. These information pages have their own link, which instructors can share via chat to answer common questions and describe their services upfront, significantly reducing the back-and-forth conversations needed to confirm a good fit. The link also allows students to check the instructor’s calendar, giving them a clear and professional outlook.
We believe the right relationships not only energize you but are an essential element for success in anything you do. Messaging among members is free, and it has helped aspiring pilots, pilots, and instructors, decide with whom they spend their energy.
